The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 东北人面子大过孩子？没钱还把丧礼整这么豪华竟然不会被亲戚朋友骂？？？不会被其他老百姓戳脊梁骨？？？
开头好多蛇，有点吓人；很独特的抗战片，画面超美；有些画面像水墨画，想起了胡金铨，芦苇荡的部分竟然有点像塔可夫斯基

——这气氛多像电影，正常男主都应该叼根烟，然后再放首《当年情》，那气氛一下就上来了。
一部合格的网大，笑点也挺受用，没有隔靴搔痒的感觉，小故事大道理
有些镜头能让人笑
真是那点搞笑点全在预告里了，结尾彩票还行。“葬礼压根就不是给死人办的，是给活人看的。”
要真当个电影去评价的话确实不太优秀，算是对故乡情怀的鼓励和赞美吧
相当正能量的片子，很搞笑，比大多数东北低俗喜剧强太多了

出乎意料的还不错，细节上再打磨打磨，应该是个小成本佳作！

7。#入围BJIFF2021 [声音] [意象] 导演/摄影/男演员都值得鼓励一下
十年前看爱笑会议室的时候，我就相信这帮喜剧演员会在演艺路上越走越好的，现在看来确实如此，一个接一个在大银幕上火起来了。打四星并不是说这片子拍的多牛逼，虽然也有些微很多国产喜剧经常出现的东北尬梗拼凑的痕迹，但是在相声小品演员转行做导演拍出的电影里面，这部真的算很不错的了。
