The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 开始以为是科幻、奇幻、魔幻片，后来怀疑是宗教片，最后……这故事有点烂。
画面还成，不过想象力也没有特别惊艳，画面设计属于想起一出是一出，不是非常系统。故事看完没懂到底啥意思，想说啥？
没有拍出传奇感觉，并不是因为独立电影不能拍中世纪题材，而是在音乐、剪辑、台词各个方面，影片都完成得非常单薄。
太晦涩，十字军又是我因为不喜欢而造成的知识盲区，所以看不懂，欣赏不了
少年的成长童话，剧情量不大但美术风格实在是太突出了，很喜欢。
David Lowery这导演可以直接cancel了，我看还有一部《老人与枪》，也就算了吧

很可以辨认出一些过于当代的弑亲情结。其实是个万全的试炼，弑了白弑。摄影机有一些神秘的（也就是莫名其妙的）操作，小屏幕看有点疲劳。维坎德在后半部的扮相过于像乔丹·皮尔的搭档凯了……
