大量人物近景，抬气氛。大量插叙，交代人物心理发展。故事性不是很强。完成的还可。主题乐"let me tell you about it"很有冲击感，赞的。本来一开场的氛围烘托就靠这曲涌现的。
台湾乡土味很浓，充斥着少年的无知无助自我迷失的电影，最后阿国死了虽然很伤感又觉得情理之中，原声带真的长出了那一代少年的迷失。嗯，从某方面来说很有种中国版猜火车的感觉。
娃娃的工具性太明显，机械植入到了笨拙的程度，很有那种“写作班行货”的味道。当然，观众很清楚娃娃做为一个隐喻装置，暗示从母职逃离的女人无法释怀的心结，以及与女儿终究难以割断的生命联结。但这构成一个48岁女教授偷娃娃的动机吗？观感很诡异，creepy。结尾女教授肚子被捅了一针，躺倒在海水里睡了一夜，于是多年的创痛、分裂、愧疚便霍然而愈了？心理逻辑是什么？
内容很深刻，可拍出来有儿怎么说呢，杂乱。演员演得尽力了，可导演对全片节奏的把握不太行，全片无跌宕起伏，太平了。再就是电影没太拍出来女主在这个社会下的无力感，浪费了一个好题材。
本片由玛吉吉伦哈尔编导，是她的长片导演处女作，改编自《我的天才女友》的作者埃莱娜费兰特的小说。
台湾所经历的正是大陆在经历的，侯孝贤、杨德昌他们在80-90年代将台湾社会各阶层在经济浪潮冲击下的时代症候刻画在自己的电影中，让那一代人可以用以缅怀曾经历的磨难和悲壮，这也许就是电影的意义。

台湾残酷青春物语，与《艋舺》比起来，该片要接地气得多。香港有个徐小明，台湾也有一个，一个擅长动作片，一个专情青春片，一个成了影视大亨，一个转而当了制片。
主题很有价值，一位母亲在母职责任和追求自我之间无法平衡的矛盾，拍得也不错，就是有些细节看不太懂为什么要这么设计。
拒绝是言不由衷，宽容是舍弃，清醒的人才会迷失。因为她/他太知道自己想要什么，同时也深知生活公平，能真正满足的事不会多。但正是由于这样的迷失，和曾经勇敢地迷失过，生命才在扭曲里继续顽强，我们也因此更义无反顾地爱着它。电影超越了对母性和母亲在角色层面的简单探讨，就像侯麦《秋天的故事》讲的是爱情又不仅仅是爱情一样，生活拥挤但人生总有更广阔的空间，而自私和爱都是自己身体不可分割一部分。所以，重要的不是该做什么不该做什么，而是怎样去做。
养育过孩子的人会被影片的情节唤起各种不适，经常在不可理喻、暴跳如雷、惊恐委屈、追悔莫及间不停切换。当然也有亲慈子孝，但谁也不敢说正面情绪和负面情绪哪种更多。对影片来说，要探讨的恐怕不是亲子关系，而是强加的女性角色的枷锁。莱达逃脱了母性的现实枷锁，却也逃不出自己心中的围笼。7

成为母亲和成为父亲是两件截然不同的事。勒达曾经离开孩子三年，但抛弃孩子的悔恨估计会伴随她到死。她爱孩子，但她不想只当个母亲。当一个母亲企图在某些时刻做她自己时，母亲这个身份就像紧箍咒一样出现了——孩子的需求高于她自身的存在，她必须收起她那可怜的自我，履行至高无上的母职。据我所见，父亲通常不用背负这种如影随形的责任，他们只要提供一些经济支持和偶尔的陪伴足矣，没人会责怪他们自私自利，毕竟他们多数人都还是少年。一些情节同样出现在那不勒斯四部曲当中，读者很难不去猜测费兰特是否有过类似的经历。这是属于作家的特权，用书写一次次反刍、反思。写作会揭开伤疤，也带来了疗愈的可能。

OLivia is everything ~ 女性視角鋪天蓋地，可，普通大眾已經被培育完整的“男性角度”的敘事結構，起承轉合，情緒處理讓此類片無法走“更遠”。一些女創作者也許想的比大多數男創作者更多更深，更感性或者更不把觀眾當兒童。但，現實是殘酷的，只有抵抗現實，需要更多女創作者，流媒體買更多，電影院上更多。
