简介有误吧。老牛仔去带孩子的原因是他还欠着农场主的人情，而农场主当初在墨国有以前妻名义投资的产业，现在农场主想以孩子要挟前妻才有了这个故事。
电影很工整，美墨边境完全成了老爷子大片的背景板，特别是有些部分是直接能拿去当广告的程度，在这方面东木还是游刃有余，故事上就偏平淡了，每次危机来临就瞬间结束，加上年事已高，驯马镜头也用了替身，不过老爷子的状态是真的好啊！
