The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 三星半，算是很工整的歌舞片吧，但是裡面的歌舞編排只能説普通，各位演技都還算在線，只是故事本身過於波瀾不驚，沒有什麽記憶點，感覺過幾天就忘光了……
百分百白人演员阵容，而且全是日耳曼白人，配上纳粹党卫队制服，看着很爽。
当人坐在一起冷静的讨论怎么把上千万人杀死的时候，是多么恐怖啊，仅有的一点疑问的想法也被淹没在沉默以及所谓的伟大事业中。人性的恶从潘多拉魔盒里被放出来，就是人类最灾难的事。电影全程是会议过程，有些沉闷。
这几年的大火作怎么全是缝合怪啊。没看过原作，乙骨忧太，原来是他妈的碇真嗣担当，绪方惠美一开口我饮料都喷出来，背后还背个香香（量产机吃完版）。
整场都是讨论，没有激烈的场景，制作成本应该很低，但每一句都透露出纳粹的疯狂，最可怕的暴力就是施暴者根本不自知。我们现在是否也处在这样一种特殊的环境而不自知。

影片本身的成色其实一般，可贵在于德国人自己拍这样一部纪实电影去回顾曾经的历史，不加润色，用最平实的镜头语言让观众置身于这场不寒而栗的会议当中，还是值得一看。
示范了纳粹如何组织一场高效的会议:议题-如何实施领袖提出的最终方案；地点：海德里希万湖别墅（安静，参会人员集中精力不被打扰），这群官员非常专业的从各个角度论证如何高效，成体系，低成本的屠杀1100万犹太人，并在法律，外交，乃至道德方面逐一论证…最终讨论出毒气室方案。细细品味吧
1942年的2月20日，德国纳粹的高级长官们会聚在柏林郊外的一幢私人别墅，会议讨论如何将欧洲大陆上的犹太人大规模清除掉。1945年二战结束时，已经有超过600万人因这场会议的决议丧生。
忽略主题基本是一场完美的头脑风暴，而且和平时跟同学的讨论不一样，这是真正有答案和结论的。宏大概念真的是洗脑一把手👌

会议期间每人每晚象征性付了五马克房费，展示了帝国的廉洁。用火车运输战俘，返程装载犹太人，一平米装10个人，显示了帝国的高效。手下有人爱对犹太孩子开枪，反正他没了父母也活不下去的，这是为孩子好，展示了帝国的爱心。处理邻国境内犹太公民，是帮邻居铲屎，这是福利，展现了帝国的热心。盖世太保取代外交部指导灭绝工作，这叫跨部门合作。反正已经对美开战了，犹太人已经没有作为人质的作用了，于是计划消灭1100万犹太人，但只要建立一个5万人的65岁以上的犹太人社区，就能有利回击境外势力的抹黑。要依法治国处理混血犹太人，与法律相悖怎么办，当然是修改法律了。最后解决方案用的是齐克隆B杀虫剂来安乐死，展现了帝国的仁慈。
路人视角的话 觉得动画的故事更震撼哎 不过打斗场面都很棒 不愧是mappa 短裙女孩一字马谁顶得住 夏油杰一出场 天上地下 唯我独尊 我一激动直接扑到了身边男孩的怀里
