The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will.     好久没看过打斗这么流畅的动画了，运镜也到位，之前网飞拍的巫师真人剧把我搞得对这动画没什么期待，但是看过才觉得真不错。说实话巫师还是拍动画吧，别搞真人剧了，明明动画搞得那么优秀。剧情方面来说有些单薄，有些逻辑不太能讲通，但是讲述了维瑟米尔性格转变的原因，人物更立体形象了，以及补充了巫师世界里面狼派的历史，冲突也设计得也比较到位，比较满意吧。另外维瑟米尔年轻的时候可真不比杰洛特差，帅是真的帅，不过为啥没有和女术士打桩呢?

    跟刚看到《青春变形记》一样，感觉都很古老，感觉都是青春期在寻找认同，《青春变形计》让人感到吵闹与刻意，这部至少有某几处沉静下来的亮点。

    无法言说的愤怒背后是一汪汪泪水。很多年里，我和妈妈也不能好好说话，甚至到现在，我想我也没有给她对陌生人般的宽容和耐心。评论有很多人不能接受这种不能好好说话的状态，可有的家庭真的就是这样相处，因为种种原因每个人似乎时刻都是紧张和应激的，母女的愤怒是对命运的愤怒，而不是对彼此，可是我们的情绪总要有个出口，往往最后都是出在了最亲近的人身上。和影片里一样，我们的和解也是从妈妈的屈服开始的。电影里嘉欣最后看着女儿却只有沉默，在被呼唤的时候才回应，让我想起曾经我也是多么混蛋，让妈妈做到这样。孩子的委屈比天大，那妈妈的委屈呢。想到妈妈总有一天也是要离开我的，忍不住哭了很久。过年的时候一个人生病发烧，每天担心得寝食难安的也只有妈妈。即使我们没能从一开始就用最好的方式爱彼此，这种爱也已经是终生都无可取代。

    是不开心的压抑的琐碎的但竟然是高可看性的温暖的。饭桌上母女的争执的台词节奏、父女一起挑家具的调度运镜、母女大吵、女孩与马的互动戏、还有最后全家人松弛下来后的泪水，好多处理都让人觉得导演厉害

    明明很爱一个人，却能够把她折叠进照片的阴影面，却尝试把痛苦归咎于她。爱与恨从来是一体两面。文化对撞与病毒侵入只是阵痛的人造病因，真正的郁结隐藏在生活的呼吸间，无解也无路可逃。绿色窗栏里，每个人都自私，自私的期待别人再努力一点，再为自己改变一点。但最终我们也没有搬去更大的房子，没有在演讲比赛取得第一名，没有回到LA，癌症没有治愈，非典没有结束，就连马厩里的马也没有接受女孩的移情幻想。这一切找不到原因，也没有人会为此负责。（想说的太多最后全差了一口气。影后应该给林嘉欣

    原来猎魔人也会流泪…虽然吃设定，但还算差强人意，猎魔人史诗级增强了，喝药涂油法印都很还原；不过杰洛特怎么是个光头…？

    并没有期待的好。除了妹妹，其他三人的戏基本均分，而导演又想要拍出每个人在这个家庭里的不易，结果就是似乎面面俱到，但其实蜻蜓点水，无一深入。

    而且怪物和场景粗糙，对白中的剧情描述过得过快，打斗场面只具意、行，谈不上美感。。。可就凭她和他经历了多年的变故依然彼此信任无间，他面对衰老的容颜爱意无比吻得下去的唇，他在她将死之际用魔法溶解的湖边，还有她闭上双眼依偎时嘴角的笑意～这部小制作就有了灵魂。。。

    基本上是完全再创作了，只是包了个猎魔人得壳子，原著里得大社会氛围感和矛盾也基本没有什么渲染只是借用了一些设定得皮毛，动画风格是欧美融合流行日式得产物，阿尔德法印放出来更像是螺旋丸，打怪也是常常结束不明不白，不得不说网飞挺有钱的，但是拍的东西就像是为了凑数一样迎合流行，真有点西方爱奇艺，影界金拱门了那味了。
