剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     Schrader donne ici une masterclass de comment filmer le vide en plaçant au centre de son film une figure évidée incarnée majestueusement par un Oscar Isaac glacial au visage presque figé inexpressif. Comme un fantôme du passé traumatisant qui hante le présent, le héro ne cesse d'errer dans des lieux publics impersonnels ambiancés par une mise en scène sèche et sidérante. Conte cruel dans une Amérique sans échappatoire ni rédemption possible.

    中段冗长而毫无调度的对话戏太多了，几乎毁灭掉了观感。其实亮点还是比较明显的，把一个高概念的娱乐性的元素解构成逃避内心阴影的手段，从算牌的桥段中得不到任何心理上的爽感，而唯一的释放恰恰是主角最终割弃牌桌直面痛苦完成自我的救赎。问题就在于后者也并没有处理得很好……
