The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 作为喜剧片却不好笑，这是最致命的一点。其次故事也没讲好，拼凑感太强，支离破碎的，结尾处理的更是稀烂。差评
剧情有不足，虽有俗气却有新意，看了蛮有趣。

我就一个普通老百姓，看完觉得挺逗的，看的挺开心
俗而不色，乐而不尬。下岗喜剧人再就业，开心麻花出来的小演员确实会比起刘老根大舞台那些演员注重剧本的设计，对于隔着屏幕观看的表演缺乏现场氛围后的不尴尬是喜剧着重的地方。其实故事的很多笑点设计也是那些俗套的设计，但是它并不下流，好笑的地方也并不高级，甚至故事也并不高级，他依旧保持着小品的水平，但是它网大的定位却让它有些鹤立鸡群和超出预期了。其实开心麻花很多普通的本子用来拍网大是一个稳定的流水线了。
崔志佳近幾年表現最好的作品，故事儘管很簡單，但演員們那種東北人深入骨髓的幽默感讓人從頭笑到尾～畫面也真心不錯～等疫情過去了，一定要去東北來頓小燒烤

稳扎稳打，有笑点不尴尬，合格的喜剧片，比一大批院线烂片强多了。
故事很流畅，东北磕一套一套的也不生硬，烧烤看着很好吃。有的地方虽然是能预料到的梗，但是不尴尬也不生硬。
本来只想给四星或者三星，但是老爷子对自己事业的那份忠诚，真的想起了自家，我们希望老人不累，但老人他只是想继续做自己喜欢的事情
多加一颗星，感谢给当下焦躁的神经一点温暖和抚慰
还可以吧，东北不能失去烧烤，就像西方不能失去耶路撒冷
还是有点笑料包袱的，就是故事情节太扁平化了，没有啥高潮起伏，平铺直叙不温不火的，当加长版小品看及格是有的了。
很不错的网剧，题材新颖，笑点不俗套，点个赞
