The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 9·11二十周年&疫情时的官摄意义非凡。演员们魅力四射，编排和演唱数度让人感到激动与兴奋。“Be anxious for nothing拥抱不同，能够真诚地相信爱，付出爱。”当下的人类，无比需要这样的作品来激励并唤醒人性中的善良和爱。
2021上映，刚好在疫情期间，又是“911”20周年，演出这样一幕剧再合适不过。来自不同地方讲着不同语言的人，因为怀有同样的普遍的人类的情感而得以相聚相惜。

太想念剧场了。本来看到简介的时候很疑惑，这么现实这么像新闻报道的故事用音乐剧表现不会很奇怪吗，看了以后震撼又感动。歌曲、表演、编排等等都很好，原卡官摄很好，要是有机会看现场就好了。

在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
头一天看了一部本土爱国主义舞台剧，然后这么一对比……好的更好了，差的就不说了。基本上就是我们和世界的差距吧。
感觉一般般吧，只有welcome to the rock比较好听。没有hamilton的前半部分好看。三星半
