The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 太伤感了。Cameron和Jack吵得要打架时 C突然癫痫发作 J却突然软下心来扶住他，并说“一定不能让她（Poppy）知道这个事”，看到这里突然好感动 原来克隆不克隆 所有的矛盾的基准点都是在不伤害P的前提下 这份爱真的好让人动容。最后C回到了家 和儿子碰杯和老婆最后的拥抱 还有J献给C最后老婆的表白 真的让人忍不住感叹这段感情的美。其实如果是我 哪有那么矫情自私 只要是那个人和自己最爱的人喜好相似外貌相似就已经开心得泪流满面 更别说完全一样了 如果真的有什么遗憾 那就是给那个人幸福的不是自己让人有点惋惜。PS男主好帅身材好好！
本以为又是一出人工智能鸠占鹊巢的惊悚故事，结果在两个自己碰面的高潮戏上没有往这个方向发展，反倒泄了下来，这让之前埋下的对机构和人工智能的不信任都不了了之，更没有对这种情感替代行为的深入思考，反倒成了人类要战胜私欲，变相认可了善意的谎言，这个切入并不是太认同，当然阿里的表演还是一如既往的不错。
故事就是一个人快死了，但是克隆了一个自己陪家人，中途反悔，但不得不接受现实让克隆人替代自己，同时克隆人继承了自己的记忆。这么说吧，你不是你了，但别人眼里你还是你。最后，没人在乎原本的“你”。悲剧。
多半是因为我的经历和记忆
話說，同樣是複製黑人，李安的《雙子殺手》要是能加上本片的一些人性元素就不會那樣沒養分。
不得不承认，Apple+的质感是极好的！
漫改商业电影我觉得首先要有观赏性 也就是说要好看 这片完美达成了此目标 非常好看 喜剧效果绝佳 各种 反套路 非常不错
把伦理问题拍成鸡汤糖水片就算了，还拍这么长……
喜欢Mahershala Ali但这片子节奏有点问题。
剧情设定和镜头语言将影片的黑色暴力处理得非常荒诞、幽默。几位角色特点鲜明、深入人心。
本来想着可以不抱罪恶感地死去也挺好的，还是看得难受。
导演对科技的幻想不够充分，又对人性的美好过于乐观。事实上，没有人会希望自己被“另一个人”彻底取代，甚至连自己的死亡都不在这世上留下任何痕迹。
画面很棒，演技不错，但我不太喜欢这么平淡的片子
apple出品 未来产品的概念拉满。开头的巧克力够老套。面对死亡 和最爱的人告别 是最大的课题 ali演技真好。以及我能一下子就听出女主伦敦口音了 笑。
另一种诠释死亡的视角，但生命和精神的延续到底应该沿用那种方式？不是人能控制的，尊崇自然法则吧。片尾如果博士的新顾客是女主那意义或许提升两个档次。
对于一个非漫威也非DC粉的路人观众来说，反正是看得挺爽的，在俗套和反套路之间反复横跳，但最终还是俗套 的。

惊叹，马赫沙拉阿里真的是黑人演员中的绝对翘楚，新一代的领军人物。他真的，一次都没让我失望过。甚至次次都能或多或少地超出一些预期。即使这次的故事文本极其平庸。
构图很apple，克隆所的风格好像《机械姬》里面那个林间house，想想这生意一条龙，跟用户说绝症治不了了建议克隆，克隆人送过去还让本尊留下临终关怀顺带套路下一个潜在用户，机智呀！另外，克隆体的创作设计这些抽象能力和本尊应该不完全一样吧？
