The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 很多地方人物的心理动机和心理转变很难用正常逻辑理解，比如玛利亚和东尼短暂见面后就如此“深刻”地相爱；玛利亚在东尼射杀了自己的哥哥之后很快就和他做爱；玛利亚的嫂子很快又原谅了东尼和玛利亚。。。为了矛盾冲突而冲突，为了转变而转变。

斯皮尔伯格的场面调度简直膜拜。行云流水的运镜，舞蹈随着音乐一气呵成。
說實話，感覺不太到重拍的意義。最主要是衝著“baby”😆
比1961年电影版好一点。歌舞场景很漂亮，最有魅力的角色依然是Anita。这一版的Riff表演得很精彩，演员非常帅。改编增加了几个场景，故事背景设置在拆迁在即的Lincoln Square贫民窟，在警察局唱《Gee, Officer Krupke》更幽默和讽刺，男女主约会的地点The Met Cloisters太美了。但是情节和原版区别不大，男女主的故事线一如既往的烂。不喜欢莫名其妙的爱情故事，很难理解男女主所谓的爱情，这个年代已经不吃《罗密欧与朱丽叶》这一套了。
Only very few moments capture some glimpses of a Gene Kelly musical. Unlike Bruce Lee’s martial arts, actors fail to express themselves truly through body movements or singing, although Spielberg's mise-en-scene nails it, the 2021 version of WSS is far from a good remake. Still love it for speaking up for the minorities.

比上一版要好许多，情绪饱满，几段舞蹈设计精彩
每一幕都是享受，完美的电影拍摄手法，顶尖的好莱坞水准，来拍摄了一个过时的故事。去享受就好了。

“Tonight”一唱响就忍不住跟着哼唱 ┃ 60年前的“Anita”丽塔·莫雷诺一点儿也看不出90岁了，顶多60多岁的样子 ┃ 期待伯恩斯坦传记片早日问世
我真心觉得Jimmy O‘Yang is way cuter than Darren Barnet
歌舞片目前的发展水平，就是需要话剧式演技，生活流的演员请靠边。
