The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 经过上半部的折磨，下半部果断调成倍速，居然还是觉得节奏慢，典型的装x片
男主在里面挺性感的。然而即使留着大胡子，也掩盖不住眼睛所揭露的软弱。当个小白脸还行。这也是大多数男人的通性吧。骑士所具备的素质一如中国的君子。都只是极少数的人。大多数人都是贪生怕死贪财好色好逸恶劳。

儿童，宠物，童话，降智的永远在抢夺路上的反派，嗯套路雷同也就算了，但是演的真的有点差啊，演技呢演技。。。
亚瑟王+王后一起亮相让人瞬间以为是普罗米修斯/异形串场。作为一个文艺片，比较让人侧目的是莫名其妙的精神污染：例如男主突然就偶遇奇行种而且还试图搭个便车/被拒（＊￣︶￣＊）音乐刻意在凯尔特风，但过于单薄几乎可以被忽略不计
3.5。在濃重的悼亡情緒之下，電影其實早已形神皆散，徒留下前後照應的戲劇結構和厚重手法續著最後一絲精氣神。
继大卫洛维上部失利之后再度回归，把背景搬到了中世纪，服化道过硬，搭配A24标志性的装神弄鬼。将家喻户晓的传说故事，拍出视听享受:自然风光、室内外打光、配乐绝了。其中，跨越时间的玩法与奇观制造很是新鲜，大概就是误食云南毒蘑菇的体验吧。★★★☆/7.7
Dev Patel开始有真正的”movie star”的范儿了
很重的土腥味和书卷气。神秘不足、符号过多，如果能延续开篇几十秒的火焰…整个电影都会燃烧起来！鬼魅浮生是导演偶得佳作么？！
反骑士精神的醉乡民谣，最后促成男主角成为骑士的仅仅也是对充斥谎言的未来的恐惧。
画面很美，台词很美，服化道很美，配乐很美，但这故事讲得…真的有点无聊…不得不分四天才看完，也不是高困，就是想干点别的。
特别拧巴的一部电影。Lowery为了让当代观众理解角色，把Sir Gawain the virtuous的journey of chivalry改编成coming of age故事。改编很难说成功。一面极力撇清传统saga和coming of age叙事不惜穿插荒诞讽刺，一面不得不忠于原著情节用神秘主义风格把saga情节糊弄过去。最终coming of age变成了一条直到最后一幕通过颅内simulation才能完成的陡峭曲线，路上的道德挑战在乳臭未干的小骑士身上也失去了在原著里与virtuous knight的张力。slow pan再好看也救不回来。
可能我不太懂这种流派…
Quite heavy both in visual appearance and symbolism, though not necessarily abundant in meaning and coherence. The somewhat progressive reinterpretation of the legend is hackneyed at best, pandering at worst
