The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 以一种社会纪录片的温柔视角(城市地貌的重评估-纽约大部分拍摄位于中国城附近；与孩童思维的反思-真实的与孩子的对话和观察)，来逐步构建“反抗”的孩子与“失意”的成年中的关系
很温柔的一部电影，成年人和儿童建立情感和过程是非常动人的。我也有点发现，这个时代的小朋友们的表达能力和认知程度真的很让人惊讶。

从隔阂中开始，在化解中结束。故事细腻，娓娓道来，剧情设定像西方版《菊次郎的夏天》，但东西方文化确实是有不小差异。黑白摄影总是与生俱来一种孤独落寞感，绝美质感也为影片加了很多分。
PS:我突然想到，其实我们小时候还是有很多深刻的思想，长大了只想在刑法里找孔子赚快钱了 哈哈哈哈哈

没有波澜起伏的情节，克制的黑白画面，城市的光影依然温暖。很多对白，舒缓而充满奇思妙想。采访和生活两条线都很棒。连孩子都知道情绪是需要表达出来的，为什么有那么多真心话，需要对着话筒才能说？
整体情绪仍旧是平静温和
