The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 西部风格，悠远辽阔。大爷虽离江湖已远，但大爷还是那个大爷。
镜头的设计很见功夫，可惜人物不够丰满，戏尾收得太快了。

4星。很酷，在父亲节和父母一起看的父亲的电影
终于再次给Buster Scruggs发挥的机会了啊!非常喜欢Tim Blake Nelson的swag~ 虽然本来以为是老骥伏枥的cliche西部片，最后的twist还是很激动人心的，强行复活legendary Billy the kid~还别说TBN真的神似Bonnie啊!!
如果能拍到《老无所依》那种气氛就好了，人家男主捡到钱当晚就跑路，老坑利你捡了钱也不会跑，也不会灭口，还救了个同党，我在屏幕看都知道你傻，不顾自己也顾一下儿子啊，还说自己是老江湖……这编剧就编得有点过分忽悠观众了。
