根据真实事件改编的电影总是更令人动容，很多法律的颁布背后都有为此付出代价的人。还好虽然他死了，但是正义还在，他的妻子和孩子得到了很好的安置。那个人权律师也真好，6年处理了96000个人权案件。但是印度电影每次时长都好长，而且看的翻译版也是好奇怪，很多翻译都不通顺。

30分钟男主角才登场，也是神奇的安排，搞得开始的时候真的不知道电影要讲啥。电影没有刻意的宣扬对立，鼓动变革，但正是这种克制，假设根据真实事件改编，更让人感到种姓制度的可怕。

中规中矩。虽然小人物对抗强权的剧情很容易引起观众的共情，但整体没有特别出彩的地方，几段歌曲的插入也破坏了叙事连贯性，法庭戏也基本处在我方王者，对方青铜的状态上，没有营造过多的紧张感。
再次验证豆瓣冷门分类的标准可能是影片剧情和绝大多数中国观众的生活差距要够大。起码揭露黑暗的那一半差距要够大。
pps,看的版本是机器翻译吧，太差了……
手法中规中矩，但事件本身足够打人。国内也不乏类似案件（如列树宾案），也不缺正义的法律警和有骨气的当事人，但维拳和表达空间还是狭窄太多。
印度版辩护人，四星给题材。如很多影评所言，就电影题材而言，印度早就甩我们几条街了，有教育制度，种姓制度，反抗体制权威，反抗宗教等等。
