The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 看了影评知道了原故事，才能把影片里各种奇怪的元素对上号，很明显导演逞能改故事但改的无法自圆其说

美术方面是做得挺好，服装设计那是很有味道。以古代末期为背景的奇幻故事，氛围塑造是能被感受到的。可能是叙事不怎么“亲切”，比较玄乎且魔幻。开头高潮然后平稳下来……
看的时候和男主一样时不时就恍惚了，不是看不懂，是真的走神了
改造通俗类型

啥呀。。。神话传说还是恐怖故事？啥也不是。。。
就很中世纪的那种诗歌故事，充满萧索、奇幻、脏乱差和难以名状的精神分裂感，构图、光影、摄影都很棒。但，没别的意思，远距离交通那么不发达的年代，印裔感明显的男主真是很让人出戏啊。
选这么个咖喱男演中世纪骑士，zzzq要到什么时候才能是个终结！抛开这些，虽然大部分时候画面不错，但是故事节奏太慢，内容没啥新意，除了最终的反转让故事回归主基调，其他没有值得回味的了。另，故事的配角阵容真是强大，可惜，为了看艾丽西亚的观众要失望了。
美术和光影棒极啦，但除此之外也没啥夸得出口的……
从《鬼魅浮生》开始就特别喜欢大卫·洛维的风格，到了这部最新作也不例外。精致的构图与色彩运用，令强迫症拍手叫好的运镜，再加上极其有韵味中世纪骑士风格，造就了这部观感相当舒服的电影。虽然剧情并不算精彩，但最后一幕捡回了不少分，完成了一个合格的收尾，也已经达到了我的预期，好看。4星。
没底子真的看不懂，但看完后去了解了原故事，也看了下分析，算是明白了。大卫洛维尝试通过骑士诗歌的再书写唤起被人们所遗弃的美德，其实也是对现代社会人的状态的一个反映。
本作通过极致的镜头美学对英国古典文学的视觉化呈现，让我时时想起侯孝贤的刺客聂隐娘，美是一样的美，底本也是一样的厚重但又颇有趣味，当然，闷也是一样的闷
