The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 美国底层奋斗成功，宗教信仰，亲情爱情家庭，所有的美国梦元素都凑齐了。也的确成功的讲述了一个励志，温情的故事，所以同样是真实历史人物传记，无论是讲述教练主视角的《孤儿橄榄球队》还是以运动员为主的本片都在叙事上吊打《国王理查德》，真正的好运动题材电影该这么拍！
7分还行，相比第一部纯娱乐更像是个完整电影了。

一盒传奇的诞生也有制造传奇的这些神奇人物。
这样的电影总会有那些个瞬间让人动容，比如那几个最终的“荣耀时刻”，比如在最脆弱的时候来自家人的支撑。一开始就知道是大圆满的结局，所以整个片子相对平淡的推进让人觉得差那么一口气，似乎这是一个天才注定成功的结束，也确实，在职业体育界（所有领域），成功就是天才的专属；不成功，是天才自己“不想成功”。这个片子相较于过去的其他同类，太过平淡了
这老头也太惨了吧？第一季已经很惨了，第二季还要碰到毒贩千里追踪女儿，小女孩演技还行，最后说她叫菲利克斯的悖论性挺有意思的。
