The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 老爷子九十多岁了依然还拍着，依然是那么细腻的情感。
为报旧主恩而寻子，其崇高的、英雄式的意义却不断被稀释、消解，难掩英雄迟暮之意。虽然得出人生无意义的感慨，但同时对生活本身保持着热忱，比如美好的风光、跨上马背的感觉、孩童和女人。
剧情各方面很一般。老爷爷90岁自导自演真的是厉害。今后应该不会再出来拍戏了吧
本来义无反顾一开场就准备给老爷子五星的，可是这次的故事和演员表现真的让人看不下去

东木老爷子这情节开挂也太离谱了，小男孩的人设不合理，墨西哥风骚寡妇献身，警察点错相，连鸡都识得救场，改成晚年幸福生活比较贴切搞什么Cry Mecho
真的老了，但还是荒野篝火、帽檐下的深邃，这些元素没有变。前边的剧情拖沓又出戏，中后期拽回来一点，但止不住颓势。
91岁的伊斯特伍德，感觉看一天少一天了……影片本身并不出彩，甚至有点沉闷。唯一的感觉就是：年轻时的追求男子气概、刺激…只是一层皮而已，真正让你安心，值得的，反而是平淡的日常，两人三餐四季。这个道理被一个91岁的老人讲出来，莫名的厚重与悲凉。
感觉这两年老爷子拍的电影全是他自己想体验或向往的生活 但这部片子老爷子的幻想太无趣了
