The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 作为普通动画的话还好，作为亚当斯一家这也太合家欢了，剧情既平淡又低级，实在没意思。
比第一部好很多很多，编剧终于知道这部剧的内核是什么怪东西了，但是从怪兽大战开始到后面的派对，只能说为了票房而屈服了一些，连带着环游本土取景为了观众有代入感，虽然毫无意义，但从商业角度也可以理解吧。最后，长毛表哥突然开口变狗哥属于意外之喜了。
对比刘德华的《解救吾先生》，真的逊色很多，没想到黄政民表演最不自然是演自己哈哈哈哈哈哈
